When time permits, I love to explore the world. My favorite place on earth is Thialand. I love the culture, food, and to me, its Paradise-on -earth. My next trip there will be with a 1 way ticket and all my most cherished belongings.
My least favorite trip...Venezuela. I have NEVER seen such poverty anywhere! The trip from the airport to Caracaus was over an hour by van through some very steep mountains. As far as your eye can see everywhere, are these tiny shacks no more than 4 feet tall, with corrugated metal roofs, side by side...this is where the Venezuelan people live. I cried.
When I'm home in NJ, I spend my weekends in Asbury Park. I have since 2004, when I bought a "summer home" there. I love the concert venues. I've attended all of the "Sea.Hear.Now Concerts" I've been heart-broken since the 'Saint" closed during COVID shut-down.
