Earning my Varsity Letter in Crew reflects the time, discipline, and consistency I put into being part of a competitive team. Crew required early mornings, long practices, and constant accountability to my teammates, which taught me how to show up prepared even when it was difficult. I learned how to work under pressure, communicate clearly, and trust others while also being dependable myself. Balancing academics with a demanding training schedule helped me develop strong time-management skills and mental toughness. These are habits I carry into everything I do, including work and leadership roles. The bond between the oarsmen on our boat was incredibly strong, we all still keep in touch to this day, despite all of the original 8 having graduated and moved on with our lives.
