• Memorial Medical Center- Las Cruces, New Mexico
• Worked along side my nurse preceptor in the pediatric intensive care unit.
• Provided patient and parent education on medications being administered.
• Collaborated patient care within an interprofessional team.
• Assessed patients upon admission.
• Documented all interventions and assessments using an EHR program.
• Preformed interventions on pediatric patients such as: central line blood draws, NG tube feedings, nebulized air treatments, oral, IV, IM, and SQ medication administration, continuous fluid infusion, titration of sedation medications, and hourly vital and neurological checks.
