Accomplishments

  • These are some, but not all, of the major events I have been a part of in my tenure here so far.
  • Repaired MAB water line several times and worked long hours to do so
  • Made critical repairs to both of our steam boilers multiple times
  • Received training to become certified in Backflow Prevention which saves our facility around $14,100 annually ($300 per backflow is the standard fee)
  • Received training from the manufacturer of our boilers to gain knowledge needed to better service them and keep them operating smoothly for many years to come
  • I have cleared clogged sewer lines in almost every corner of our facility MULTIPLE times and made sure to do so in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Repiped and installed two new water softeners in the Energy Plant
  • Removed an old worn out Eyewash Station and installed a new Eyewash Station in the Energy Plant
  • Built new kitchen sinks and reworked the plumbing underneath them to meet Code requirements
  • Installed a new garbage disposal in the Dishroom and removed the old one
  • Helped facilitate the installation of the new Dish Machine in the Dishroom by locating water and steam shutoff valves
