5 Years 10 Months- I handle all items needed aboard river and canal tugs and barges as well as offshore ATB's(articulated tug/barge units) with the exception of food.
- I would accept quotes from the purchasing department, consult with the rep, department manager, vessels to confirm specs from quotes, locate vendors for the items, place orders for items won on quotes, stay in contact with the vessels until items arrive from vendor and coordinate the logistics to deliver the material to the vessels. Certain times emergencies will arise requiring a quick location of items close to where a vessel located with a small window of opportunity to make a delivery, this is my specialty!
