  • A Marine in this role was expected to meet stringent fitness and conduct standards and have successfully attained the appropriate rank/grade for such an assignment
  • The PMI must be able to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team or individual atmosphere with military members of all ranks/grades, weapons range safety staff, and supporting personnel to successfully train more than 7,000 new trainees (recruits), in addition to experienced Marines, with a 92% first time qualification rating, from February 2001 to June 2003

  • Duties included preparing the conference room for senior military officials, visiting dignitaries, guests to conduct various operational security briefings, ensuring the audio-visual equipment was functioning properly, organizing briefing materials, classified documents, cleaning the briefing areas
  • Other important duties during the 12-hour overnight shifts consisted of maintaining the Commanding General’s office, conducting security checks, classified documents handling, proper dissemination/distribution of pertinent sensitive information, organizing, filing, posting relevant information for appropriate security level (cleared) personnel
  • Additionally, the position required the 24/7, 365 operational management of all assigned personnel to the Command Center due to the highly sensitive nature of the strategic location, and critical importance of National Security, safety of the US Naval Fleet, and strong military presence in this area
  • This position is a prime example of my qualifications and background that supports a Security Assistant, Security Administration, or other comparable position within your organization
