Throughout a career as a Military Officer, a Law Enforcement Officer involved in complex criminal matters, and a Small Business Owner of a Harness Racing Stable, all challenges were met head on with vigor and confidence. As the challenges were many and from a very wide range, it prepared dealing with controversy, challenge, difficulty, and diversity. Never backing down from any challenge and always working things through with cooperation with others, dedication and drive.
As a Special Agent I was involved in a wide range of investigative matters from the Violent Crime and Major Offender Program (VCMOP) White Collar Crime Program (WCP), and Foreign Counterintelligence Investigations (FCI). These investigations included a wide range of responsibilities as Case Agent.
During July 1983 I attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Upon completion of Basic Training attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning Georgia and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant on January 13, 1984. During following 5 1/2 years, attended numerous military schools and was assigned as Infantry Officer to combat unit 1/13 Infantry Battalion. Assignments included Platoon Leader, Special Weapons Platoon Leader (Tow Missiles), Company Executive Officer, Acting Company Commander, and S-3 Air. advanced to the rank of Captain. Was selected to take a platoon of the most qualified soldiers in the 8th Infantry Division to attend Level 10 French Commando training in Givet, France. This unit outperformed all French unit throughout the course of training. As acting Company Commander, Maneuvered A Company on several field training exercises and garrison activities. As a Junior Grade Infantry Officer in a mechanized Unit, was personally responsible for millions of dollars of equipment.
