Startup designed and manufactured Color LED lights for auditoriums, theaters, churches, and schools. Small 4-man team and I was only sales team member. Sold company at beginning of COVID.
Joined startup with 24 employees and about $5 million in sales for purpose of developing international sales. When retired 8 years later company had 84 employees and $39 million of which International contributed about $2 million. Developed Canada, European and Australian/NZ markets.
Director of Sales and Marketing. Starting as Sales Manager for Printers with 2 Japanese and 1 German, we quickly grew to company with approx. 100 employees and 500 million DM annual sales. Promoted to Director Printer Sales; then Director Peripheral Sales for Disks, Printers, Scanners, Optical Media and Marketing. Also developed optical media sub-system which was later sold by Fujitsu in many other countries.
Fujitsu and Luxium Lighting develop new patented technology which I used to help develop new products using that technology.
Worked/managed clothing store for 2 years while student at University. Was Business Manager of daily University newspaper, later co-founded weekly sports newspaper on sport of wrestling which won national award. Later sold advertising for local daily newspaper, restaurant in-house publication and magazines. Developed packaging and marketing/sales for on-line sales of smoked steelhead salmon
