• Nokia, Atlanta, Georgia, 2009, 2011, Senior Project Manager, Orchestrated production software and infrastructure implementations. Delivered all reporting, daily end-to-end task allocation and progress tracking. Partnered with foreign government officials to provide oversight and attain legal agreements allowing interception of communications for suspect messaging users.
• IBM, Atlanta, Georgia, 2008, 2009, Senior Project Manager, Governed the Health Net TRICARE relocation for 2,000 data center assets, consolidating an 18,000 square foot space to an updated, virtualized 5,000 square foot space. Led Tier 4 target site infrastructure build-out, server and network procurement, server power assessment and balancing, vendor oversight, and decommissioning and disposition of obsolete equipment.
• Georgia Department of Transportation, Atlanta, Georgia, 2007, 2008, Senior Project Manager, Orchestrated implementation of Microsoft Server; coordinated staff training on transitioning from desktop to enterprise use. Defined previously nonexistent project management best practices. Oversaw implementation of change management and resource management processes.
• Cingular Wireless / ATT Mobility, Atlanta, Georgia, Senior Project Manager, Directed procurement and deployment of 40 Sun T2000 servers in 3 hot-hot, load-balanced data centers, overseeing the full project lifecycle for hardware, peripherals, and systems software. Supervised design and requirements gathering, infrastructure and hardware evaluations, and final configuration. Also oversaw large-scale external client projects to install and configure new systems and applications.
• The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta, Georgia, Senior Project Manager, Built a cross-functional SME team to launch a feasibility study and all necessary requirements gathering, financial analysis, and sustainability planning for a new independent print product, overseeing all market research, concept development, and reporting.
• Bellsouth, Atlanta, Georgia, Senior Project Manager, Coordinated implementation of Microsoft Project Server as part of internal staff training on centralized enterprise PM information systems; also trained on formal PMBOK methodologies, work breakdown structures, SDLC project schedules, milestones, scope, risk analysis, mitigation planning, and variance resolution.
