I have been working for a nationwide contractor as a traveling superintendent for 5+years completing multiple projects in the 1–4-million-dollar range. My work ethic and attention to detail have allowed me to move up to being one of the company's top superintendents not only in profitability and ability to hit dates while supporting quality but now as troubleshooter for problem projects. I work diligently at being proactive and resolving issues as quickly as possible as well as maintaining a safe, clean, organised job site. I am experienced in Procore, Raken and surefire punch and I am OSHA 30 certified.
Prior to transitioning to Superintendent, I worked 30 + years in as an electrician but also gaining experience in other trades. I feel my strengths are organizing and coordinating trades in an orderly productive and profitable manner. I have been lead or foreman in most positions and have been running crews since my mid 20s. I also have a good understanding of framing, plumbing, mechanical and structural aspects of projects. I understand the balance between performance, profit, and safety. (I had built several projects with them in the past and they felt I had potential as a superintendent.) - This was an amazing opportunity that in hindsight I regret walking away from.
- Robert Sicker (Owner/operator) hired me as an electrician we started with one truck and built a company with an annual revenue of roughly 2.5 million with 6 trucks and multiple service accounts.
- I was involved in all aspects of running a small contracting business including, estimating, billing, scheduling, personnel, payroll, and job supervision.
- We ran a split shop with mostly union small works or B electricians and hired Journeyman, as necessary.
- Our accounts included auto dealerships, malls and hospitals but also handled residential service work to bolster cash flow.
