Accomplishments

Over the last 20 years, I’ve been immersed in the teaching profession one way or another. First, I was studying child development while working in a preschool then I ended up working as a long-term sub before I got my own second grade classroom. I’ve learned so much from mentors parents, other teachers and administrators along the way. More recently I’ve been working as an education specialist with highly impacted students and it’s opened up a new world of experiences as an educator and as a mother. I have two autistic sons and raising them has been my pride and joy. All these things combined have given me a wealth of knowledge from a variety of perspectives that I can bring to the table.
