First applied for the housekeeping position at the Comfort Inn Kodiak, took the Front Desk Guest Service Agent opening before they had changed their name to the Quality Inn Kodiak. My job role was to answer phones, make reservations, check in arrivals, take and process guests stays and payments while checking in made room keys for arriving guest. Counted till before and after each shift. Shuttled guests to and from airport upon departure or arrival. Maintained and cleaned lobby. Dusted, vacuumed, mopped lobby and hallways. Wiped windows. Made sure public restrooms was cleaned. Changed out trash bins. Helped house keeping with the flow of the hotels laundry wash,dry,and fold bed sheets, blankets, towels. Stocked housekeeping carts and stocked guest coffee area. Helped in bar and kitchen washed dishes, wipe tables.

Take messages for agents. Run errands for office supplies. Counted payments made for the day, drop off daily payments to bank when day ends. Make and change out drivers on policy such adding or removing a driver, or adding or removing vehicles or vehicle from an insured policy holder. Started insured policy claims for any damages or accidents that a customer may had occurred. Followed up on paid claims and to see if closed claims was paid out.
