I have worked in the healthcare field for several years. I like knowing that i'm able to make a difference in someones life. Weather its for a client that needs little help, or a client that needs full care. I have also came into homes where families are so grateful for the help we provide to help give them piece of mind on family members care when they can not be there for them on a daily or live far away. In this line of work i have had the opportunity to work with many care needs such as full bed bound, alzheimers/dementia, combative, paralyzed, clients who have ostomy and fully catheters, and feeding pumps.
In the year 2023 i was able to work in the office as a Care manager over SW Michigam for In-Home Companions. I assisted in finding the best caregiver for Clients daily needs. Worked on scheedual, training caregivers, helping educate family members on any questions or concerns they may have, worked our on call system. documented any careplan changes as needed and much more.
