Strategic Analytics

• Design complex analytic applications that provide insight into financial, human resource and productivity analyses to meet operational management needs. These efforts include:
• Understanding and utilizing existing data to create new analytics and new data when appropriate. Model data from disparate sources to provide meaningful analysis.
• Design solutions for direct requests from Senior Leadership. Design applications that create new data elements and that anticipate management needs.

• Lead Center of Excellence for Labor and Payroll Analytics supporting over 180 hospitals and thousands of medical entities. Subject Matter Expert for Labor and Payroll Analytics.
• Lead development of analytic applications including Data identification, acquisition and/or creation Data integration and modeling
• Lead transition of 180 hospitals to new payroll accrual method eliminating manual procedures and improving accrual accuracy.

• Use Qlik, BOBJ, Oracle, LongView, Essbase.

Financial Reporting

• Lead team of reporting analysts in delivering labor, payroll and timekeeping reporting of standard weekly and monthly reporting to Executive Management.
• Provide guidance to team members for researching business data requests including how to use Teradata SQL, Business Objects and other reporting tools.

Data Management

• Oversaw data integrity, accuracy and completeness.

Financial Reporting

• Designed and developed standard automated Monthly Operating Reports package.

Reporting Projects

• Designed and developed standard online Arcplan reporting applications including HCA Corporate Human Resource Analytics (HRA). Developed multiple standard reports within HCA Facility HRA including an online report to allow pivot functionality.
• Project leader and lead developer for HCA/Parallon Scheduling Excellence Analytics application. Provided oversight and instruction for new Arcplan developers.
• Reporting tools include Arcplan, Hyperion Essbase, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, and QlikView.

Financial Reporting & Support

• Developed and delivered monthly financial reports used by Executive Management.
• Create various ad hoc financial reports for Executive Management and the HCA Performance Improvement initiative.
• Provide second level support for Business Objects queries in Lawson Human Resource Universe. Business Objects reporting includes working with multiple data providers and custom SQL.

• Hyperion Essbase - Supported financial reporting applications built with multidimensional database technology.
• ArcPlan Reporting - Developed and maintained web-based financial reports using Arcplan Dynasight software. Researched user questions and troubleshoot errors.

• Created and maintained multidimensional database applications with Hyperion Essbase. Developed databases to accumulate software development costs for capital asset determination and to determine charge back of IT&S costs to facilities.

• Worked with vendors to complete development projects for multiple PRIMUS systems including: LeMANS LeaseMASTERII (lease receivables system) and ALLTEL Advanced Loan System (retail loan system).
• Evaluated business proposals for systems enhancements and new development to determine systems impact and requirements. Coordinated implementation of systems changes/enhancements and new systems development projects.
