Passionate interest in biological systems, fluent in both English and Cantonese, and currently engaged in academic study within the life sciences. Over four years spent assisting clinical operations at a busy acupuncture center, handling scheduling, records, and interpretation tasks. Provided instructional support for students in science subjects, including chemistry, biology, Botany, and Zoology, adjusting methods based on individual comprehension patterns. Volunteer work in public service was acknowledged through an honor from the City of Sacramento for sustained involvement in advocacy during periods of social tension. Now studying for a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution at the University of California, Santa Cruz. A recent internship in mammalogy was completed at the Kenneth S. Norris Center for Natural History. Practical skills in preparing biological specimens were developed during this time. These abilities connect directly to work in animal health care and efforts to preserve wild species. Experience gained supports both fields without favoring one over the other.
