Reliable and hardworking night Warehouse Manager committed to getting each job done as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. Currently have a little over 6.5 years of experience working in the warehouse. Was a warehouse selector with an outstanding Selector performance. In 2015 ranked #6 and in 2016 was ranked #1 in the country. Reached 200,000 cases without any mispicks. Been on routes with drivers too look for knowledge and learned some of the transportation side of things. I am proficient at using the forklift whether its from putting pallets up or retrieving them. I have used different operating systems such as Foodstar, Dev, and APT. In November 2018 had job title changed to SWAT and was traveling to different OPCOS to help them out whether it was to train, select, load, forklift, or just help where needed. December 2018 went to corporate to take the quarterly management class which had introduced me to the basic fundamentals of APT. I have the ability to run either day or night shift in the warehouse and keep it in balance. As a Manager I have given my knowledge and shown the way of different techniques to my peers and employees. When doing preferred work methods I really dig in and look for ways to improve the associates, rather than just writing something on paper I always give the associate a chance to improve on something. The past 2 years I have been in Houma, LA at PFG Caro, first I was a Warehouse Supervisor up until July 2020 and then I had became the Night Warehouse Manager. My job isn't easy but yet no job really is. My job is to train, to motivate, to increase moral, to care for every individual. At the same time my job is to make sure everyone is being productive doing what they are supposed to be doing at the specific given time. I honestly feel that I have done that well. For the past few months I have been putting more focus towards transportation. I have been moving trucks around learning more about how the drivers are doing on their routes, been getting closer to the drivers I see typically every night. My primary focus if I do get the opportunity to move to the transportation side of operations is to learn and execute and getting the ability to be able to express all that I have learned and transfer that knowledge to other drivers. If I am accepted for this position I will listen, learn, teach, and execute everything to the best of my ability.
