As a construction management student at-Purdue University Indianapolis, expected to graduate in 2026. I have a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex problems in the construction industry, using my strong foundation of working with tradesmen and a keen eye for detail.
I’ve contributed to successful building projects by collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards. I am eager to learn from industry professionals and make a positive impact in the field.
Working at Veterans Engineering & Technical Services I was able to be exposed to the following day to day tasks:
Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
Facilitate communication between project team members, contractors, and clients.
Attend project meetings and take minutes, ensuring action items are captured and followed up on.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and assist in problem-solving on-site issues.
Observe safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements during fieldwork.
Working at James Babcock Inc. was a great opportunity for me to get my foot into the construction industry. I was able to be around many different trades, and speak to a variety of project managers and superintendents. This allowed me to have a general understanding of how a successful project should be approached, managed, and profitable.
