I assist managers with tracking the time of arrivals and departures. We mentor and guide associates to their assigned areas and help answer any questions or concerns they may have. We use a number of different software on our laptops to aide in monitoring freight and to know the time that each market is to be sent out. Overall my job is to make sure that we get our packages sent out on time, while also focusing on the quality.

My job was to help clear any jams that occurred in the chutes, with the use of jam poles.

Sometimes I would have to climb 10ft tall ladders to access chutes that were high. We would communicate amongst other jammers and managers, to call out the locations of current jams.

Operated numerous pit vehicles such as Forklifts, Reach Trucks and Pallet Jacks. Depending on the assigned work, I would use these pit vehicles to help carry animal products/food throughout the building.
