As the IC receiving command, the fire scene was mitigated after commanding the scene for 24 hrs., MPD MCI after multiple officers shot, prompting a standoff and ERT Op – 2021., Home Daycare Fire and MCI with six cardiac arrests, five of which were children – 1999., Creed Concert MCI during Bayfest – 1998., I-10 Bay-way pile up & MCI – 1995., Amtrak derailment and MCI – 1993., Spring Hill College Fire – 1991., Mardi Gras most every year., Lead investigator of numerous large loss incendiary fires., As the first 'captain' to be assigned to the Bureau in my 20-year career to that point, one particular fire I investigated was a fraudulent fire started by a married couple. In an effort to defraud their insurance company, they staged a grease fire in an attempt to burn their home. Both individuals accepted a 'blind plea'., Numerous federal cases involving large-loss, serial arson, and fraud., Regenerated an effort to initiate a successful Juvenile Fire Setter Program., Designed, enacted, and managed the Fire Bureau's first secure investigative records system.
