I started off as a scanner where my duty was to scan every single package that came into my area so they knew exactly where that package was and so the customer knew that their package was in our location. I was moved the what we call the ball deck, where I move big heavy containers that are full of customer packages. I occasionally am operating a forklift moving freight around our building or unloading/loading items in and out of these containers.

I would make sure to engage with every customer that walked through our door. I made sure to learn exactly what they were looking for so I could properly assist in finding what they needed. I also would occasionally work the register, and be in charge of taking deliveries of inventory. When in charge of the inventory I would make sure they were logged into our system and properly stored away into the proper area.

I would make sure to package customers items properly to insure that they reached their destination on time. I would occasionally load trucks with said packages, and I would also use a scanner to locate the items and send them on their way to be packaged.
