The same culture of curiosity and exploration that I encourage of my students starts with me. I may not have the same experience or upbringing as many candidates that you see, but my commitment to a processes of learning rather than outcomes have helped me inspire resilience and creativity the scholars under my care and myself.

Being the advisor to a podcast club is one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire career. I've had the pleasure of uploading 5 years worth of audio from students who have developed their voices and platforms in a studio that we created from the ground up.

Last year, I completed an internship that allowed me to become a leader with Garden State eSports which is the largest scholastic eSports organization in the country. I am working now to establish a fighting game community with the aim of expanding and diversifying our student population even more. I also look to bolster the presence of our women's league called Valkyrie.

I love to read science fiction novels, social justice novels, and autobiographies. I also love playing Magic the Gathering and I just started playing Dungeons and Dragons.
