Summary

Dedicated and proactive law enforcement professional with 23+ years of experience in a nationally accredited full-service agency that services the City of Alexandria, Virginia Department of Corrections, and numerous federal government agencies. I possess a great working knowledge of the logistics that keep the facility operationally maintained. I am very well-versed in working directly with my fellow colleagues, other city departments and agencies, and independent contractors. In my current position as a lieutenant in the Support Services Division, I assist with coordinating several structural improvement projects for our facility. I also oversee and attempt to motivate my subordinates by implementing our agency's four core values: integrity, professionalism, respect, and unity. As a prospective candidate for IRE's Regional Executive Development Program, I'm actively seeking to enhance my efficiency in leadership and interpersonal communication skills. By obtaining these additional skills, I would become more prolific in my profession and an even greater asset to my agency, and jurisdiction. This program will also allow me the opportunity to begin networking with neighboring professionals to build a trustworthy and strong relationship, which is imperative in addressing and resolving important regional issues.
