• Supervise and mentored a team of 15 dispatchers who handle 1200 or more Transfer Cases per month as well as dispatch approximately 300 Ground and Air Transports per month.
• Coordinated Staff Scheduling to keep our communication center fully functional at all times.
• Corresponded with Payroll the Time and Attendance of the communication team and flight team members.
• Efficient in multiple types of software such as AeroMed, QlikView, Kronos, Excel, Power Point, and Word.

• On Call 24/7 to assist/advise staff of how best to resolve issues regarding a patient transfer or flight.
• Participated in the Stroke Process Improvement Committee whose goal was to refine our process for recognizing a stroke patient and decreasing the amount of time until the patient receives the appropriate treatment needed.
• Secured patient transfers by streamlining the guidelines along with other departments.

• Promoted to EMS Agencies and area Hospitals our services for transporting patients to the closest appropriate facility.

• Processed incoming calls on multi-line system. As a team of 3, we would process an average of 40 transfer cases, 450 phone calls and 11 air/ground transports while staying calm and organized.
• Fielded patient transfer calls from all Orlando Health facilities, as well as other Central Florida hospitals Central Florida, in which we would collect basic patient information, location, and diagnosis.
• Conduct dispatch of 3 Air Medical Helicopters and 2 Pediatric Ground Transport teams.
• Act as Air Traffic Control for the Hospital's Helipads. Communicated with all air craft coming into the five Orlando Health's Helipads as to when it was safe to land, take off, or if alert them of any other aircraft in their area.
• Utilized online mapping systems to locate coordinates of scenes called in by EMS dispatch.
• Flight follow/track all teams out on calls in case of any type of incident.
• Facilitate conference calls between multiple Physicians to determine the patients transfer needs.
• Stay familiar with Florida geography and the closest available aircraft to the point of need.
