  • Re Entered the disaster response field as an Assessor for the Louisiana Shelter at Home Program, which was modeled after a similar pilot program to assist disaster victims of Hurricane Sandy that was designed to help homeowners to return to their home while repairs were in process. The temporary emergency repair parameters were safe, sanitary and secure within monetary guidelines approved by the state. My duties were to assess the damaged dwelling in order to facilitate repairs which considered plumbing, electrical, mechanical, minor roofing, framing, windows/doors, interior surfacing, floors, cabinets, demo, site specific mitigation and appliances.
