DCS - Distribution Center Supervisor - Responsible for setting up and monitoring daily production by using Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's). Define resources needed, work with a budget and staffing parameters to meet business objectives. Monitor team members productivity and quality of work. Communicate essential information between departments by fostering open dialogue channels between supervisors, managers and staff members alike. Enter daily KPI's forecasted and end of day actuals in required spread sheets.
Setup / Start up new departments and new shifts creating a positive work environment by training new hire Distribution Center Supervisors, cross training team members on multiple job functions, good safety practices.
Evaluated and analyzed current work methods and recommended ways to eliminate inefficiencies by conduction WBWA - Management By Walk Around to ensure ensure team member safety concerns.
Trainer / Mentor for new and existing team members for multiple job functions such as selection, stocking, replenishing, cycle counting, quality and damages. Conduct observations, coaching based on job performance assessments.
Participate in team members concerns : reporting, follow-up, investigate & / or disciplinary processes if necessary.

Inventory Control function - completing From 2's when moving product from 1 location to another. Completing end of day cycle counts on all scratches.
Machine Operator - operated a variety of equipment - forklift, stock picker, stand up dock loader, partial training on a short pallet rider.
Selector using Pick To Light and Dematic Pick to Light.
Stocker - Using a gladiator or a hand held gun scan and cut product open to the correct location. Product that didn't fit into the slot move to back stock location for future use.
Lean Specialist / Captain - Advocate and actively participate in continuous improvement culture, particularly Lean initiatives to improve processes and continually drive out waste.
Engagement Committee Team - assisted with fundraisers to benefit local community business. assisted in activities for children's parties and open houses, creating floats for parades.
First Responder - 10 years on the First Responder Committee - certified in 1st aid , CPR, and AED.
