As a member of the float team, I gained experience as a registered nurse in multiple areas of the hospital and satellite facilities. I became proficient in the emergency department, several different specialized pediatric medical units, the neonatal intensive care unit, the pediatric intensive care unit and the cardiac intensive care unit.

Managed up to 5 patients simultaneously by providing bedside care, treatments, and IV therapy. Assessed patient conditions accurately by conducting comprehensive physical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and utilizing critical thinking skills. Provided inpatient care to diverse population of pediatric medical and surgical patients.
