I am currently a shift supervisor in the Fertilizer Production Section. I supervise 15 operators in the Ammonia Unit, Urea Unit, and Product Loading unit. As a supervisor, I am responsible for operator training, improving production rates and efficiency, enforcing Safety standards, Performance Appraisals, Troubleshooting Process upsets, coordinating maintenance activities, maintaining housekeeping areas. I occasionally fill in for Shift Superintendent where my focus is efficiency for the entire plant and acting incident commander during plant emergencies.
