DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•I Ensured proper procedural documentation was completed as applicable in a variety of operational environments prior to beginning work including proper work permits and JSA's.

•Supervise safety personnel, electricians, mechanics and IT to oversee general safety requirements as applicable.

•Ability to diagnose basic problems, troubleshoot equipment and take corrective action within established guidelines. Audit Contractor adherence to client Injury/Illness (I2P2) prevention programs.

•Complete knowledge and familiarity with the Safe Work Practices (SWPs), Work Permit procedures, as well providing direction surrounding elements of the Turnaround Safety Management Plan and SWPs. Diligently maintained safety and quality standards, completed trainings and orientations outlining the Safe Work Practices and site specific information required to work at these facilities. I have monitored electrical JSA for third party contractors. Monitored crane companies and enforced JSA as well as cement companies laying concrete.

• Conducted safety training and education to employees to increase awareness of safety hazards and empower employees to work safely.

Accessed Veriforce and ISNet to assign trainings for new employees site access on Encana and OXY, Centurion and sites as well as Helmerich and Payne oilfield sites.

Certified Instructor in PEC Safeland, H2S Clear, Core, Core Blend and CoreRefresher. Certified instructor in Medic First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens/CPR. Maintain records on current and previous employees and notify supervisors of their employees’ recertification needs. Provide training to oilfield companies in-house as well as in the field. Provided fit testing with Quantifit machine in-house or mobile. Testing half masks and full masks by 3M, Drager and Scott AV2000 and AV3000. Use of Quantifit machine ensuring a sealed fit. Irritant smoke testing in half-mask fitting. Train new employees in don and doff and inspection of SCBAs to ensure are in good working order. Training with employees in developing concise JSA’s, following Behavior Based Safety Standards and the importance of Stop Work Authority.

Train new employees in certifications needed to work as an H2S technician, as well pipe restraint systems. Provide feedback to employees and assistance when needed. Follow all OSHA standards and apply safety standards by following all safety protocol.

Develop and present Power Point presentations to staff in office safety, in-service training, as well as old policies, changes in policy and provide feedback to any questions regarding policies. Reviewingpolicies.Reviewing new staff orientation paperwork, ensuring all on-the-job training is completed before new staff is sent to the formal training academy, sign off and send all forms to academy trainers.Conduct all office audits on cases to ensure policies are adhered to, monitor for compliance on procedures in offender treatment, officer referrals and computer software updates of files. Conduct file reviews in offices throughout designated regions and enter information in to Excel Spreadsheet for management review. Supervise eight officers in everyday reports.
