Operated vehicles and heavy equipment to perform all duties associated with road making, road maintenance and resurfacing as well as storm damage mitigation. Conducted pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment prior to operating. Performed general maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles, including heavy equipment. Used specialized equipment for wildfire prevention as well as suppression of wildfire activity.

Responsible for all duties involved with owning and operating a repair shop, including, but not limited to, scheduling employees for work as well as time off, supervising employees, procurement, record-keeping, budgeting, and inspection station compliance. Performed preventative maintenance and various types of repairs on cars, trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. Specialized in diesel work. Used multiple scan tool configurations to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs that were needed.

Operated various forms of heavy equipment needed for the mining industry, including but not limited to, haul trucks, excavators, loaders, graders, bulldozers, tri-axles, and tractor trailer equipment haulers. Also worked as a mechanic performing preventative maintenance as well as major repairs on all equipment and company vehicles. Also worked with paving equipment, including rollers and pavers that utilize topcon and laser technology.
