• Trained and coached junior employees on procedures for completing various types of repairs and maintenance on cars and light trucks.

• Performed preventive maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, used to maintain air base grounds, vehicles, wind tunnels and aviation testing equipment.
• Supported equipment relocation projects with disassembly, transportation, reassembly, and recommissioning tasks as required.
• Conducted routine inspections of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Performed maintenance, service, and repairs on a wide variety of automobiles and systems including traditional and modern ignition and fuel systems. Primarily working with European vehicles. Conducted computer diagnostics, computerized four wheel alignment.

Produce an average of 50 flat rate hours weekly, performing Mercedes Benz automotive diagnostic analysis, repair and maintenance. Extensive work with electrical and electronics systems, Can bus systems and fiber optic telecommunications platforms such as navigation, hands free systems and emergency calls. Work with air ride and active hydraulic suspension systems. Extensive experience in engine repair and rebuilding as well as repair of adaptive strategy automatic transmissions. Experience in CIS fuel systems as well as computerized fuel injection on gas and diesel engines. Diagnose injector pump problems and install repaired pumps on diesel models

Assist other technicians and perform tire installation, oil changes and minor repairs. Working part time evenings and weekends while attending classes at Chattanooga State Technical Community College
