13-week basic training in Parris Island, SC additional 8 weeks of intensive, specialized infantry training at the School of Infantry East, NC. Riflemen are primary scouts, assault troops, and close combat forces. Proficient in individual weapons such as M16, M4, M249 SAW, M203 grenade launcher. Also certified in combat life saver. Led an infantry team of 4 members in combat operations, including providing tactical guidance. Received and implemented combat orders and directed deployment of personnel in offensive, defensive and retrograde operations. Effective decision maker in high pressure environments. Conducted patrol operation, detainee operation and tactical site exploitation. Also Conducted SLE (Street Level Engagements) and KLE (Key Leader Engagement) on multiple missions for the purpose of acquiring intelligence to disseminate.
