Summary
I have been a travel nurse for over 5 years. I currently work on a unit with 30 beds total, 22 beds are observation pts & 8 beds are med psych and can be intermediate. I work as charge nurse mostly over both units. It is a high pt turnover on observation, and the psych/med unit can be challenging. I supervise 7 nurses, 2 NAs, and most of the psych pts come with observers if warranted. I enjoy high paced environments and I am a huge promoter of teamwork makes the dream work! I plan to leave for 13 weeks & return to ECU Health to my same unit.
