  • Communicate via VHF radio to moored boats for pickups and dropoffs at mooring as well as other launch driver to coordinate who is picking up what boat.
  • Maintain and inspect launch at the beginning of every shift per US Coast Guard requirements for an inspected launch.
  • Assist yacht club boats with engine troubles/Hip Tow them back to their mooring or yacht club dock.
  • In addition to driving the launches i also help maintain club moorings using the club owned work skiff.
  • In addition to operating the yacht club launches i also help boats on and of the yacht club dock.
  • Follow safe driving practices to minimize risks during transport operations.
  • Completed routine pre- and post-trip inspections to evaluate the vessel and assess maintenance needs.

  • Ever since i was little probably around the age of 6 or 8 i have been helping my grandfather with our family busines; over the years i have done concrete work, patios, trenches for piping, foundations for houses, walkways, pads for trailers in trailer parks and snowplowing in the winter and much more.
