As a Local Ground Controller for Delta Airlines my job is to clearly direct aircrafts onto and off runways; in preparation for take off, while also clearing the area and directing them to land. We ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the ground while also unloading and loading customers baggage! Cleaning and cabin searches are also another part of the job which you can’t forget!

• Worked closely with supervisors to make sure deadlines were met.
• Provided assistance and training to new employees on proper use of driving equipment and airplane locks / doors.
• Kept up to date and voiced all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Loaded and unloaded aircrafts.
• Ability to operate Tugs, Cargo Loaders, Belt Loaders.
• Assisted the supervisor when needed.
