Prepares food and maintains efficient standards of operation. Reviews production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity needed for service, and ensures food is prepared in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements. Monitors food for appropriate time, temperature, and production records to ensure safe food handling techniques are being utilized.
-Assists with performing meat roasting, frying, broiling, steaming, grilling, sautéing; preparation of sauces, gravies, vegetables, meats/proteins, cereals, eggs and other baked goods.
Under direction, monitors food portioning and promotes food waste control by preparing food in small batches to help control waste/cost.

Learn all Prep Items so that you can quickly and seamlessly prepare; label, rotate and store every item with 100% adherence to the recipe specifications and required par levels.
-Prepares all food items according to prep sheets or as per the Manager's instructions.
-Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Mixes ingredients for cocktails and service wine and bottle or draft beer. Rings drink orders into register, collects payment and makes changes. Washes and sterilizes glassware and prepares garnishes for drinks.
-Responsible for providing excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment.
-Correctly set up, maintains, and closes the Expo window.

Summer internship with the city of Milwaukee department of public works. We were assigned to the public works department where we would go around to neighboring parks to clean them.
