• Recipient of the Student Council 'Faculty/Staff Award' of the year in May 2023, honoring outstanding contributions and support
• Voted by the Senior Class of 2018 as the 'School Mom' for providing exceptional guidance and care throughout their high school journey
• Recipient of the Timberlane Teachers OWL Award (2018) for consistently offering exceptional contributions to the school community, with the 'O' recognizing outstanding dedication and effort
• Inspired five or more students to pursue careers in Social Studies education, fostering a passion for the field and guiding them toward professional pathways. One of these students went on to win the Social Studies Teacher of the Year Award from the New Hampshire Council for the Social Studies (NHCSS), while another is now a Social Studies Teacher at the top-ranked high school in NH
• Resolved low course enrollment through developing and authoring innovative Social Studies curriculum for elective courses such as 'History of Sports' and 'Pop Culture,' securing school board & community approval to offer these unique learning opportunities to students
• Introduced and developed Advanced Placement (AP) European History course, providing students with a more rigorous learning experience and the opportunity to earn college credit.
• Collaborated with the department to rewrite the high school's Social Studies curriculum, converting all course documents into the Understanding by Design (UBD) format
• Mentored Timberlane students who attended and earned over 20 awards at prestigious events, including Most Outstanding School, Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and People's Choice at conferences hosted by MIT, Boston University, UMass Lowell, and Northeastern University
• Elected as the high school Social Studies representative on the District Social Studies Committee (2005-2006, 2011-2012), collaborating with administrators and educators to develop and map the Timberlane School District's Social Studies Curriculum. Focused on scope and sequence, defining key skills and content for each course, course placement at appropriate grade levels, and identifying effective assessment methods for student learning
