At Texas Roadhouse, I am currently employed as a host and silverware roller. My responsibilities include frequent communication with customers, answering phone calls, assisting customers in joining the waitlist, seating guests, leading birthday celebrations, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, I maintain the cleanliness of the host stand area, monitor restroom cleanliness when possible, and occasionally assist servers during busy periods. As a silverware roller, I ensure an adequate supply of silverware is always available. My decision to seek new employment stems from recent staff increases, leading to reduced hours for all employees. Consequently, I am primarily scheduled for weekend shifts, which will not provide sufficient income to support my financial obligations during my senior year.

My initial professional experience was at Wendy's, where I began as a sandwich maker and subsequently transitioned to a cashier position in the lobby. In this role, my responsibilities included processing customer transactions, preparing orders for delivery, beverage preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and producing the company's signature lemonade, among other tasks. This position significantly enhanced my communication and customer service skills, as it required interacting with a diverse range of customers. I ultimately decided to leave Wendy's because the work environment was not ideally suited to my preferences. Additionally, following an increase in staff, my working hours were reduced to weekends only, which limited my ability to contribute financially to my family during my senior year.
