Bronze Award, Silver Award, Gold Award

  • Bronze Award: My girl scout troop and I made dog and cat beds out of donated sweaters and grocery shopping bags and then donated them to the ASPCA.
  • Silver Award: My two group members and I made jewelry and tote bags out of grocery bags and pencil cases out of plastic water bottles. My girl scout troop and I traveled to Bali, Indonesia and we went to a nearby school and taught the students there how to make jewelry, tote bags, and pencil cases from the resources they had.
  • Gold Award: I created a whole lesson plan for a dance unit that was added to the gym curriculum at my old elementary school. I recorded separate videos of me describing the simple dance moves for the students, a slowed down version of everything, and then the full warm up and dance at full speed. I posted the video privately on youtube and gave the gym teachers access, so that they can play the videos in the future for the kids for years to come.
