MGMT 100

- This primary introduction course to business taught me the foundations from leadership to strategy and execution in a company. I was able to apply those skills to a mock case competition which modeled what it would be like working in a professional team and creating business execution plans.

ECON 251

- This is a microeconomics course taken by management students at Purdue University. The concepts covered in microeconomics are integral to key decisions that companies need to make. For instance it is the basis of deciding what to produce, the quantity, the price it should be set at, and the resources needed for production.

EDPS 315

- This interpersonal communications class helps build lifelong skills that are needed in a workplace setting and a personal one. Some of the concepts covered were conflict resolution and practicing empathy and active listening.

CLUBS:

  • Anxiety Support Club: This is a supportive club for members struggling with anxiety and other mental health disorders to congregate and share experiences and build connections with one another.
  • Purdue Marketing Association (PMA): This club is designed for marketing majors and others interested in the field to partake in group projects and various workshops applying the fundamentals. Additionally, there were several expert guest speakers from various businesses and backgrounds that gave key insight into a future reality in this field.
