I have spent most of my career and adult life working for the Sherwin Williams Paint company. I started as an 18 year old, new adult, taking a part time driver/store associate role. Through my near decade with this company, I have worked in five stores across two states working my way up from a part time employee, to full time, to a key holder, then to an assistant manager and eventually a store manager of both a commercial store and then a residential focused store. I have learned a lot with this company and more than just paint related things. I learned the infrastructure of running a business, employees and the impact I play in the success of the business itself.
The gallon leader award is given to the manager of the store that sold the most gallons in a calendar year. With gallons sold comes sales and with sales comes profit.
