Troy Glover

I have been employed with the St Lucie County Sheriff's Office for 25 1/2 years. In that time I have been the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation zero times. Members of the public and media will find nothing but numerous commendations from my peers as well as letters of praise from the general public. I have served in numerous capacities and have been called on dozens of times to handle important calls, projects and events for my ability to "get the job done" without fanfare. I have been tasked as an acting supervisor during my 10 years of experience in the Civil Execution Unit. I have been praised for my ability to adapt to whatever the situation entailed. Whether a violent call for service in a bar, or public speaking in front of the County Commission and the Landlord Tenant Association. I have given extemporaneous speeches to hundreds while in School Resource.

My interests outside of work are my children, playing and coaching baseball, fishing and reading. I have a 19 year old son who is a sophomore playing baseball at Daytona State College. I have a 23 year old daughter who is currently at South University completing her Physicians Assistant medical training. I have coached hundreds of children and young men the great game of baseball. In doing so I also have instilled important life lessons to those players. Many of the players I coached have gone on play college baseball.
