Ty Neely

My name is Ty Neely and I am 22 years old. I have been preparing to become a paramedic. I enjoy the challenge and constant activity that is required of an EMT. I like the variety of activities that is a part to the job. Because of that I'm very adaptable and easy to work with. I also respect other people's preferred style of doing tasks.

I have completed the work for two certificates of course completion to qualify for the NREMT exam because I wanted a stronger foundation of knowledge before stepping out into the field. My goal is to become a firefighter paramedic and being an EMT is the first step to achieve this goal. I realize that being an EMT is a big responsibility because people's lives are at stake. I enjoy interacting with the community and sharing my knowledge with others.

I am currently taking the Basic Fire Academy courses at Santa Ana City College and I am going to be starting the paramedic school prerequisites at Saddleback City College in the Fall of 2025. I have also been accepted to attend University of California at Fullerton to complete my Bachelors Degree. I am looking forward to the opportunity to interview with your organization.
