Completed training as a 12 Romeo combat electrician in the Illinois National Guard. Achieved top 3 ranking in class during AIT with no prior experience. Collaborated with experienced electricians to enhance skills and knowledge throughout my career while finishing with the rank of specialist with an honorable discharge at the end of my 6 year contract.
I worked at 5 different solar farms out of multiple locals. Doing just about anything you can think of, from running ac & dc wire pulls above and below ground. Ran cab line for the above ground and installed the struts while also making sure there was proper tension to support the cables on the cab line. I have meager tested, installed panels while also doing what we call plug and play to ensure there is a proper connection between the panels and avoiding super strings. I have installed conduit and built racking systems. I have Helped place inverters with heavy equipment operators and install combiner boxes. I have done pre fab at the start of jobs all the way to final dressing with QA:QC at the end of jobs. I’ve basically helped with every aspect of these farms with what I was allowed to do as a CW from start to finish putting in as many hours as I can.
Accumulated 7,000 hours of hands-on electrical experience over 6 years
