• Fulfilled one year residency, completing units 1b, 2a, and 2b of Clinical Pastoral Education at a Level I Trauma Center providing spiritual care for patients, including requested religious ritual, spiritual care of staff, and charting (Epic).

• Full-time chaplain internship completing unit 1a of CPE (clinical pastoral education), which included spiritual consultations, medical charting, attending, collaborating, and opening treatment team meetings with devotions, rounding (general visitation), conducting Sunday worship services, and conducting daily sessions of spiritual and/or practical reflection.

• Carried out the responsibilities of preaching, music ministry, prayer meetings, visitation, and counseling.

• Singing and sharing the Word of God at elder care facilities, churches, campgrounds and many other venues (incl. recording and sale of music).
• Provided counseling and prayer

• Provided Spiritual Care for residents
• Conducted devotions and prayer during staff meetings
• Facilitated local pastors’ meetings, briefing pastors about area natural disaster response planning and co-ordination efforts
• Informed pastors and others of volunteer opportunities within Parker Health Care and wrote columns for the facility newsletter
