Personal Information
An artist at heart, I have a strong passion for photography, cinematography, music, poetry, and fashion. While my professional work experience may not reflect my opening statement, I find it important to express who I am as an artist. My extensive customer service experience reflects my love of helping people and appreciation for fashion. My trail construction experience reflects my love of working outdoors and feeling one with nature. Creativity flows through me and I am very adaptable when it comes to new things both in my professional and personal life. I've been behind the camera as a hobbyist for 10 years and don't see myself ever stopping. I also love to sing, write, read, and create music videos. All in all, I am a quick and adaptable learner with a sharp memory, an open mind, and a desire to dive into the unknown without abandoning my passions.
Accomplishments
- My boss at Macy's gave me full time hours when I was only a part time employee. No full time positions were available for me so he decided to extend my shifts and give me 30-40 hours a week.
- My two bosses at Safeway would also extend my shifts and ask me to work more because they knew that I had a good work ethic with upbeat service.
- Outside of the retail world, my photography has been published in Alive: East Bay magazine twice.
- I have over 1,000 photos on my flickr, receiving recognition.
- I have four fan music videos on my youtube channel.
- I have moderate experience in post-construction of housing. I.E. painting, mudding, sanding, priming, and cutting of walls.
- Residing in Walnut Creek (which has the most open space per-capita in California), I spend a lot of time hiking with my camera and appreciating nature. I separate myself from the average hiker because I pick up as much trash as I can humanly carry as I hike.
- I have received multiple customer compliments through my service at Nordstrom.
