  • As a network engineer in Liberty’s VoIP team, I’m responsible for configuring user’s phones and troubleshooting users’ phones across the university via our ticketing software. I would communicate with users and team members to gather information about the issue and come up with a solution. I utilized tools like, Active Directory, AkIPs, Finesse, Cisco Call Manager and Unity Connection to configure/troubleshoot phones.
  • Additionally, I assisted with Avigilon camera installations across campus where I would install cameras, configure them in our software, and work with our Route/Switch team to move them over to the correct VLAN. We consistently work in Layer 1 and Layer 2 by settings up cat6 ethernet cables, terminating RJ45 jacks for installs, ensuring connectivity to the switch, and verifying connectivity. Other activities include troubleshooting camera connectivity for user’s across Liberty University as well as drafting up camera designs for other departments.
