  • As a pharmaceutical attendant, my main role was to follow very specific procedures during everyday tasks, such as filling vials with medication, cleaning and maintaining an aseptic environment, transporting products around the building in a safe manner, and, most importantly, following protocol to distribute safe products to the community.
  • Pfizer has very strict cleaning practices to which we had to be very attentive. As a team, we were all responsible for ensuring that not only we were on task at all times, but also those around us.
  • With this being such a large company with a large workload, my position was often asked by our supervisor to do many other small tasks to ensure that the day ran smoothly and was ready for the following shift. Tasks included providing support to other manufacturing lines that were understaffed, training newer employees on proper protocols and procedures, and aiding in the cleaning and documentation of completed tasks.
