Cleaning out drill holes with blow pipe and loading explosives to shoot that round. Mucking cycle to remove all rock and coal from previous shot. Scaling and picking ribs to remove loose rock and debris. Installing panning and moving forms down for concrete pour.
- Hoist Engineer - Involved running hoisting equipment safely for man trips in and out of the shaft. Sending drill supplies, explosives and 630 mucker in for mucking cycle. Hoisting work deck up and down for men to work off of during panning and form cycle. Also includes daily safety checks on all hoisting equipment, limit switches and slow downs.
- Top House - Maintaining all tuggers and emergency hoist. Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on head frame. Having the supplies ready for the next step in the cycle. Keeping all tool and oil storage organized and clean. Loading and unloading supplies. Dump muck buckets send out during mucking cycle, remove dumped muck with front end loader. Order all supplies needed (oil, fuel, water, gravel, drill parts, etc). Help maintain all equipment with mechanic. Help hoist operator with any needs they might have. Order and pour concrete for the concrete cycle. Maintain calibration and logs on spotters and SCSR for entire site

1 Year 6 Months- Worked on 12 section service crew running the scoop, making sure all entries were serviced, install tubing and curtain line. Keeping supplies moved up. Help move the section to is new location. Build permanent and temporary stopping‘s. Apply rock dust across section where needed. Set up pumps and aqua line to keep water pumped off the section. Help maintenance with anything they needed during a power move.
Service Technician
2 Years- Consulting And Site Planning, Assist with any stage of car wash development. Helped select successful site locations by interpreting demographics and traffic flow to create a site plan from the vacuum area to the equipment room.
