Additional Information

I grew up in WV and passed my apprentice electrician test straight out of high school. I then was referred by my vocational school instructor to the company Xspec Power. I worked here for almost a year until I decided it was time for a move to TN. During my time at Xspec, I learned a ton about electrical theory, utility power vs generator power, and so much more.

During my time with Kinetic Electric, I learned a different side of electrical work that dealt with more individual circuitry inside the customers homes. We performed work on residential, commercial, and even some industrial sites. My nearly 5 years at this company showed me that I would need to increase my knowledge and find a more permanent and increased income for my family.

I am a hard worker and a fast learner. I currently am self employed. My DBA is Shafer Electric. Feel free to check out our website and or reviews online. I have learned so much about the business side of things in my short time now as a sole proprietor. It has also taught me much about how to communicate with different types of customers.

I would love to take an apprentice course for lineman work! I ultimately want to simplify my lifestyle, close my business, and start a long time career here in East TN.
