  • Fix and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix/ Compactlogix PLC platform and RSLogix 5000 software package.
  • Daily tasks include monitor sorter metrics through Grafana, assisting operations with tasks, supporting other technicians on shift, completing PM’s, Look for ways to help improve site as a whole
  • Projects-
  • I’ve made an MCM to adjust the gapping on our 3-1 merge lanes on inbound to decrease the gapping between packages to allow a higher induction rate per hour on the MET induction lines. This improvement helped increase hourly volume by upwards of 2,000 PPH.
  • I teamed up with amazon AE and another CSL on site to implement accumulation logic on our crossfeeds/bypass lanes allowing more packages to feed into downstream and make it a more fluent induction process leading to a faster induction rate.

  • I’ve made an MCM to add a Photo Eye to our HSS Scan tunnel to detect packages that are stuck on the side of the conveyor to prevent damage to the camera tunnel itself.
